Being the oldest has its perks

Well hello there! Thank you to those who have come back to read my second article, and a big welcome to those who are reading this for the first time!

Since this is still a new thing for me to get accustomed to and I will have alot to write to about in the unplugged and fully charged life of being a blended family, I'd like to take the time to introduce each of us in our home. Each of the next several posts will be dedicated to each child. So just as it goes in our home, this is a boasting moment for each one specifically and only all about them!!! Just a few short facts of each child and a picture included so you are able to put a face with the name as I share our hilarious, disastrerous, chaotic and sweet tales of our lives.

Let's Talk about Phoenix!

Age: 9

Hobby: Drawing and reading educational books

Phoenix is my oldest Stepson. The leader of the pack. And must I say we as parents are lucky for that! Being the oldest sibling, alot of responsibility falls on you. Phoenix has one of the most gentle and kind spirited hearts I have met in a child. He is careful with his words. The rest of the crew definitely looks up to him. He's the big brother that comes to help you with your homework when you're having a hard time and he has just the smarts for all the help.

With his interest in traveling the world, Phoenix has taken an interest in learning about all the different countries. Being so young, hes started counting each state he's been to just as someone with a toy collection would do. With dad being from Arkansas and having choctaw and cherokee indian in him, his mother has also shared her peruvian and asian background to his race. If there's anyone you'd admire for how tan they get, it would be Phoenix.

He is one in the group that has a very goofy personality. He knows just how to make you smile. And there is none out there who could put me to sleep the way this one does rubbing my hair. Not to mention he looks like such a stud in his soccer uniform!
